Thus, joomla was not able to overwrite them now that you activated the FTP layer (because the FTP user doesn't have access to those files, only the web server has). That's basically the problem I was talking about when I warned you that you should use the FTP layer. Anyway, those files were not changed between 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 so you can ignore the error messages. HikaShop will function properly. I have just published the hikashop products / category search plugin but it doesnt seem to appear on the website. Is the plugin included with the starter edition? So once you published the search plugins you also need to publish the joomla search module which will handle the display. I have been given some breathing space in terms of when i hand the website over. I am meeting with my client on Wednesday to collect all his product info and images so i can populate the cart and do test purchases. I probably have another 2 weeks or so. It let me move only one catagory once and now it seems it doesnt want to move anymore. The page will refresh but nothing has changed.
