I had a few listings for subcontainer but nothing with a colour (color) field. Same for thumb. The css for Hikashop is in configuration > view > css --- I'm using firebug, forumsearch, dokumentation and then I ask.. I have also tried firebug but it didnt give me any css data. Seems it was ALOT easier than I was making it, thanks to everyone for their help. Step 1. Opened Joomla Menu Manager and clicked on the Shop menu item. Step 2. Clicked hikashop options. Step 3. Under details -> Associated Modules -> "click here to ..." Step 4. Parameters for DIV -> item box background colour -> 555555 Done. So simple I am kicking myself for not finding it. Sorry if i led anyone astray during the search as I had missed this the first time and only set the background for the categories.
