Add the text you want into the **Description** area. What I would like to do is to place a message above them, welcoming my shoppers to the online shop. Example: - Products - Shoes - Pants - Jewellery Isn't this how your store from is laid out? If so, you can just place the text in the Main category. If not, then you may need a module placed above the store front page placing your text in a custom module. I don't see why you would have a blank page with a main category if you menu is made ina way it display the subcategories, this is one of the Hikashop menu options.
