Otherwise, if you want something less permanent, like a real discount, you can create a new discount via the menu Orders>Discounts and select the product on which to apply it on the right part of the edit screen (commercial editions only). I knew it would be something simple, just taking a bit of getting used to the differences in layout from the shopping cart I used previously. (By the way the Shop is wonderful to use and setup) Please [Log in](/login?return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaGlrYXNob3AuY29tL2ZvcnVtLzQtaG93LXRvLzc5MzAyLWhvdy10by1hZGQtYS1kaXNjb3VudC10by1hLXByb2R1Y3Q/dG1wbD1tYXJrZG93bg==) or [Create an account](/register) to join the conversation. - **[dyvymtvar](/forum/user/7407-dyvymtvar "View dyvymtvar's Profile")** - [![dyvymtvar's Avatar](https://www.hikashop.com/media/kunena/core/svg/person.svg)](/forum/user/7407-dyvymtvar "View dyvymtvar's Profile") - [ Offline](/forum/user/7407-dyvymtvar) Less More - Posts: 104 - Thank you received: 0 - - 13 years 7 months ago [\#94696](#94696) by [dyvymtvar](/forum/user/7407-dyvymtvar "View dyvymtvar's Profile") Replied by *[dyvymtvar](/forum/user/7407-dyvymtvar "View dyvymtvar's Profile")* on topic *[How to add a Discount to a Product](/forum/4-how-to/79302-how-to-add-a-discount-to-a-product#94696 "Hi I'm switching over from another shopping cart to Hikashop and I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious but how do you add a discount to a product?
