It turns out the real culprit is the fact that there were quotes (") in the user name. Apparently, the UPS plugin handles this nicely but the FedEx one chokes. Once I removed the quotes, the FedEx options show up. Now I have another problem. I get an error message (see attachment) with the following settings (see other attachment). How do I get the error message to disappear? Please let me know ASAP. This site is live and it is confusing visitors.
