It is displayed by the view "show_block_dimension" which is loaded by the product page ( "show_default" ) and display under the product price. There is nothing else to do and it is not depended of a "stock template" (and I don't know what is a "stock template" is). Did you have overrides on some product page views ? Do you have a screenshot of a product in the backend ?
