In think that you need to select your "product" menu in the "related products" module's "menu" option via the menu Display->Content modules of HikaShop. The way I see the breadcrumb working is showing you more a browse history of where you are and where you came from, is there a way to have it more show as a hierarchical representation of where your product is?
