I read multiple threads and still haven't discovered a solution to the following problem: When adding a product to my cart, I want the website to always proceed to checkout. I set this in the backend configuration (double checked, it still is set this way). It works when I add a product to my basket which is loaded in a 'recent product' module. However, when I'm on a detailed product page (showing one product only) and I add an item to my cart, it stays on the same page. Even stranger: when I swich of my cart module, it does seem to work correctly and directly links through to checkout. To me it seems as if there is a conflict between the main backend configuration and a specific configuration which is enabled when the cart module is shown. However, I can't seem to fix it. I've tried different settings like opening a pop-up and that seems to be working fine. It just the 'always go to checkout' which is not working properly.
