It looks like hikashop is taking the pre-tax price, multiplying it by the number ordered and then adding the tax back on, rather than just multiplying the tax-included price. (see screenshot 1). Thanks!")* Hi Nicolas, If you mean in the HikaShop / System / Configuration / Taxes section - "Round prices during calculations" was already checked to Yes. (Sorry, I should have mentioned this in yesterday's post) Was this correct, should I have done this somewhere else as well? I assume Yes is the correct setting? I had also - in the Products section - 1. First set the Product tax category 2. Then entered the Price with tax 3. And let HikaShop calculate the price before tax. And I still got the inexact sum during checkout. I assume I am missing something - some other place to round the prices maybe? Thanks!")* Hi Nicolas, For the first tea (Reiche Fülle) which will cost €6,70 including 7% tax I gave in the price with tax as 6.7 (I tried to enter 6.70 / 6.7000 / 6.70000 in the hope that multiple zeros would help) ... hikashop automatically calculates this at 6.26168 and sets the after tax price as 6.7. (see screenshot). On the list of products in the Product category Tea, price before tax of this tea is set to €6,26 (see screenshot product list) which is fine. For the Rosenkonfitüre I gave in the after tax price of 8.5 (8.50 / 8.500 / 8.5000 / 8.50000) which hikashop calculates as 7.94393 and shows on the category Jam product list as €7,94 before tax. For the Beerentee I entered the price of 7.6 after tax which hiksahop calculates as 7.1028 before tax. This shows up as 7,10 on the product list. Thanks for your help! I've been away and then working on other stuff but now I returned to this problem: I still have the problem although I have the rounding option turned on so I must have done something wrong somewhere. It's possible as you say that it's to do with the Display - Views - cart : *Are you sure that you have the 2.2.3 installed ?* Yes, Extension mananger shows 2.2.3 and Components-Hikashop-Update/About says: You have the latest stable version of HikaShop Business: 2.2.3 However - when I look at the text in the Display-Views-product-cart text (see rtf attachment) it starts <?php /** * @package HikaShop for Joomla! * @version 2.2.2 ... could this be the problem? Did I update to the latest version of Hikashop but some parts didn't get updated automatically? *Did you modify some of the views like the "cart" view ?* I don't remember doing so. However when I look at Display-Views ... there does seem to be something odd about product - cart since there's a very faded icon to the right of the product cart row under the Remove customization column. (see screenshot) I (almost) assume that I should click on this icon to remove customization I must have added without realizing. However when I click on the icon I get an *Are you sure you want to delete the selected Items?* message. Help! i don't want to delete the view entirely, just get rid of any incorrect customization? Should I click on delete? The second attached file shows the text in the view. Can you see the problem there? Thanks!")* Update to my post from yesterday: I assume the problem is in some way connected - as Nicolas suggested - to the Hikashop_Display_Views The attached screenshot from a few minutes ago shows what happens when I filter via cart . As you can see, there are actually 3 lines which show the icon which seems to mean delete under the Remove customization column. When I look inside the text of each file, the 4 files without the delete icon all start: <?php /** * @package HikaShop for Joomla! * @version 2.2.3 While the 3 files with the delete icon all start: <?php /** * @package HikaShop for Joomla! * @version 2.2.2 Question is: what happens when I delete the 3 files? I see that you have the 'detailed tax display' option of the configuration turned off while it is turned on by default. Is there a reason you changed it ? Can you try with that option activated ? Also, if you have the custom tax system plugin of HikaShop turned on in the joomla plugins manager, please turn it off and try again. Regarding the views, I was talking about the "cart" file of the view "checkout". If you have an override for it (with the remove customization icon displayed), you can try removing it and see if that helps. It was this plugin that was causing the problem. Now I turned it off, and the problem is finally solved.
