Could you tell me what is the best way to set out the following: Pilates Course Intro - 7 week course commencing April 01. For each week, there are 2 timeslots available (2pm - 4pm and 6pm-8pm). In each timeslot there is a maximum number of 10 people. The cost for this course will be $150 with a limit of 10 bookings for the full 7 week course. The Full 7 week course will be displayed to members only first and is open to general public 7-14 days prior to the start of the course. After the closing date for the full course, it should not be available for selection. Instead people can buy "casual dates" So for example, if i only sell 6 out of the 10 full course, then in first week, there will be 4 available spots for the first time slot 2pm -4pm, and 4 for second time slot 6pm-8pm so on forth for the other 6 weeks. I would like to sell each spot as a "casual purchase", eg Casual Booking March 7 2pm - 4pm (4 spots) I have spent a few hours looking a hikashop and it seems like i could do it using options, variants or characteristics, but i can't seem to find the easiest way to link the casual spots with the full course and have individual quantities for each casual spots. As far as I can tell, I have completed each step, unless I am misunderstanding something. Thanks for your assistance! Rich ----- I don't see any payment methods during the checkout, or I don't see some of them, what is the problem ? There are several things which you could have missed. 1/ Check that the payments plugins are installed and published 2/ Check that you have configured your payment plugins (edit it and save its configuration) 3/ Check that your template is able to display error messages: www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentation/61.html 4/ Check that you have the payment view in the checkout workflow option of the configuration 5/ If you restricted your payment methods to zones, check that the address you're using is inside those zones ! Otherwise the payment methods will be filtered out. 6/ Check that the currency you're using is supported by the payment plugins you're using. Some payment plugins only supports a limited number of currencies. You should check that with the support of the payment gateways you're using. 7/ Please make sure that you didn't change the currency code of your currency. Otherwise, the payment plugins won't recognize your currency. If you want to change the display of your currency, we invite you to use the "format" option on the right of the currency options screen as well as the symbol field. 8/ When you select a currency or a shipping method in the options of the payment method, the payment method won't display unless that currency or shipping method is selected during the checkout. In most cases, these parameters shouldn't be selected so make sure they are unselected. To unselect them, you need to press the ctrl key and click on the selected currencies or shipping methods. 9/ Please check that you didn't set the access option of the plugin (via the plugins manager of Joomla) to something else than public. 10/ It can happen that the plugin's access is not set properly in the database. Please go in the Joomla plugins manager and edit the plugin and save it. That will sett the access if not present and might help solve your problem. Tried this, no change.") Just about everything seems doable and I just want to dive in and get started! :) I have one major concern, though: I need to place some of the products in several categories. Obviously I'm not interested in getting 5 urls for the same product, as Google would see that as duplicate content. As I see it, there are at least 2 different ways to solve this, but it appears from your forum that Hikashop don't support any of them? (Please prove me wrong.) Solution 1: Product url should simply be domain.com/product-alias (and not contain category). Apparently this would cause problems with breadcrumbs (according to posts in this forum), but it is done in osCommerce, so I can't see why that should not be doable in HikaShop? In osCommerce both breadcrumbs and navigation (not being taken to a different category) is working just fine. In this case it is important to be able to define the product alias used in the url, so the shop owner can put important keywords in the url without having to put them in the product name. Solution 2: Canonical urls - ability to choose which category is the "important" one that should be set as canonical when Google views the page. Can it really be true that none of this is possible in HikaShop? It is SO important to search engine optimise, and I have a hard time believing that this part is just ignored...? For example, in the Registration form for a new user, I had "Please enter your buisness informtion" and now it says "Address Information".
