(around 100 products) But I'm considering to use HikaShop for a bigger shop with almost 4000 products (with the plan to add more products in the future). 1) Can HikaShop support 4000 products and more? Any demosites or showcases where I can take a look? (to see the loadtime) 2) How many product can HikaShop support without slowing down much. (An estimate of course :) ) some additional info: In the current shop (non-hikashop) there are almost 120 categories with 4000 products. And the amount of products varies from 8 to 307 products per category with the exception of 1 category that has 650 products. 3) Last question is how much time would a page need to load with a category around 250-300 products and 650 products. If you can give me any indication that would be greatly appreciated. Really!!!! The current shop is slow and takes quite a lot of time to load so that's why I'm considering in migrating it to hikashop. Thanks in advance!!!! About the load time. The current shop shows 48 products per page but when I click on a category that has 250-300 products then it takes A LOT more time that a category with only one page with 48 products. If I remember correctly it takes sometimes 10 to 15 seconds to load! It seems that in the current non-HikaShop the whole category is loaded at once. If I understand you correctly HikaShop works differently when executing the queries and loading the products on a page, which makes it faster. I'm looking forward to try it out. I can get the same error when trying. 1. Login at the site, on frontpage. 2. Navigate to the shop 3. When in shop it looks like I'm not logged in. 4. Products in basket isn't showed. 5. Try to login again and I get the error "Invalid token" 6. Refresh the browser and everything is OK. It is hard for them to explain this to their customers. I have cleared the Cache in Joomla. Session is handled in Database No Cache plugins are active. Problem started to happen yesterday, nothing is changed in setup since start a month ago. Currently, the small image div shows only when i have multiple images added to the MAIN product, but no images associated with the VARIANT. This would be OK, but I want the image to change colour when a colour is selected. Please tell me what I need to alter in the code. Thanks :) PS - another thing. When attempting to configure the product page correctly, my Recently Viewed module has suddenly started displaying 12 products instead of 3. It did this before, and I believe it's to do with the changes I made to the pagination, so that it would show 12 by default instead of 20. However, before, I went to the module and made sure it was set to 'All sub elements' and 'Synchronize with currently displayed menu' was set to No. This fixed it. Now, it doesn't fix it, and I don't know which other settings could possibly have affected it. I also can't see how I did anything to affect it with the changes I made to the views. So, I was busy working away on my site, when suddenly my site stopped working. The entire frontend of the site was screwed, and only the Random products module would load. LITERALLY, when I checked the code, Joomla was outputting: .... without a single shred of my template (or any template or styling for that matter) Had me going crazy. I thought my database was wrecked or something. Especially after I checked Joomla's error messages and it was reporting that my database was NULL?!?! So, I clicked "FIX", I purged my cache, I did a lot of stuff. Finally, I saw that "updates are available" and it turns out it was today's UPDATE NOTIFICATION that wreaked all this HAVOC! So, I updated and bam, bing, badda boom. It's working again. Thank God - I thought I was going to have to rebuild my entire site. Was crazy. I'm running Joomla 2.5.7 w/ PHP 5 and MySQL.") Those are the modules on the front page. I am not having a problem with the modules. I am having a problem with my Hikashop content plugin. Go to STORE link, and click on any of the product categories, and you will see that the STAR RATING system is still activated. If you need a direct link to a category product listing: here it is: www.syrup-pirates.com/2013/shop/category/12-comic-books I have tried changing this from both the HIKASHOP OPTIONS in my STORE link (in the nav at the top), and in the "CONFIGURATION > DISPLAY" Neither of which has been responsive since yesterday's update.
