I started by resizing all the images to 640x480 and saving them as lightly compressed jpgs. I then made sure that the thumbnail and image sizes where set the way I wanted (this was trial and error to get just right and I had to start over because I messed it up the first time). SO, now the problem that I am having now is that when you proceed to checkout, the thumbnails that appear next the products are missing. I checked the links with Firebug and the path is: ‘src="/media/com_hikashop/upload/thumbnail_75x100/’ The problem is that, that particular folder does not exist. There are a whole lot of others for varying sizes which can get confusing. Anyway, I'm not sure what it going on now. When I was testing the shop before loading the full version the thumbnails were working fine when I manually loaded a few test products. I'm worried that this problem is connected with the bulk importing. I hope not because I really need that feature to work otherwise it's going to take me years to setup this shop. Please help! I want to use the default comments system because I like it better than jcomments. But it's all in english. Can I translate it to greek? 5. How can I totally change the social icons in products page? I want to put my own icons instead of the default ones. If this is not possible the facebook icon needs translation to english this time. At the english part of the site it says "??? ??????" instead of "Like". 6. I started using dj image slider but it's too painfull to create each slide for each product e.t.c. I want a module that connects directly to a specific hikashop category and display the products without any other effort by me. Does the lof slider give me this option? 7. What about the Paysafe Card option for payment? Is there any thoughts of adding this method? Seems to be a popular choice. 8. A suggestion : It would be wise if you put an individual price for every hikashop style. Because It would be a lot easier to me (and to many other people I imagine) to give let's say 5 euros instead of 40. Now I want to use a style of yours but I'm not a developer and I only want one style and I have to pay 40 euros for this. Not possible... By default it is currently highlighting one category up from Root, which is confusing to a new user, and simply not the best place for the category list to start at. It depends when Joomla 3.0 RC will be available and the alphas were already released one month late. I can't tell you when HikaShop for 3.0 will be out. We'll do as fast as we can based on when we can start the process and the amount of work necessary. If you want a project that you need to start in the next two weeks I would recommend to use 2.5 and update to 3.5 in one year. For the individual files, you’ll notice on line 2 (line 1 of data), the “parent_category” field is blank. I would have thought that this would have acted as an anchoring point for the following imported lines meaning that all of the new categories grew from this new branch of the category structure and did not relate to any other existing branches. On the bright side, a review of the category structure with my client is looking good and early indications are that we should be able to remove at least 90% of the categories.
