The store was operating just fine until we moved the site to a new Virtual Private Server. Everything seems to work fine until checkout. The first step (confirming the cart) works fine. When we hit next to go to billing/shipping address, we get an internal server error. If I click on a step further down the line, it will go to that step, but stop because the address hasn't been filled in. I have played with the order of the checkout procedure and always get hung on the address part of the checkout. I have checked to make sure the users we are ordering with have valid addresses. The site is CajunDaddyOnline.com, but isnt live yet. If anyone can help me, I would be happy to give access to the front and/or backend of the site. Thanks in advance for any help!") I have quite a specific issue. My client is a wholesaler and doesn't want any of his retailers to think he is selling direct to the public. So we introduced a list of preferred retailers to the checkout, now each each user can choose their preferred retailer who will get the sale. This was not a problem, but now the client is asking if possible can the purchase confirmation email be sent to the chosen retailer as well. Here is where I start to have issues. . . I know its not a problem to add a table to the DB with company names and emails, but does hikashop have any functionality which enables me to send the automatic email to the wholesaler (website owner) and the retailer (chosen from a list in the DB)? I'm also a bit skeptical that the shipping rates are becoming disproportional as the quantity of product rises. If I add 1-40 products it's close to the same rate (Between 20 and 22 dollars). As soon as I change it to 45-49 the rate multiplies exponentially (45 items shipping-226.00 / 49 items shipping-500.00). I checked my dimensions of item, weight, etc on several of my items to see if there is something wrong, and I have it all correct. I even tried changing the dimensions on some items to see and it didn't make a difference unless it was oversized dimensions. For example: If you add only 1 item to the cart and it's under 1 lb., the both shipping methods seem to calculate o.k. . The amount is a little off, but workable. If you add only 1 item to the cart 1 lb or higher, you get the same results for both as listed above. The rates seem o.k. However, if you add multiple items to the cart and each item weighs 15oz (whether you put 1 item in the cart or 10 weighing 15oz each), the USPS does not change the shipping rate. It should go slightly higher with each item added. UPS changes the shipping rate on multiple items in the cart(like what I explained above), but UPS is not combinding weight on multiple items so the rate charge goes crazy crazy high with the more you add. A customer ordered 4 wall border (each weighing 15oz ea), the USPS charge should of been $9.72, but the USPS quoted $6.30 whether I had 1 border in the cart or I had 4. I put up to 10 borders and the rate stayed the same. UPS should of been $13.24 for these 4 items, and it listed $15.51 which was close. However if you started to add more items(especially weighing over 1 lb. ea) the UPS module is not combinding the freight and the freight ends up going extremely high. From what I've seen $15 to even upwards of $30 dollars more in rate charges than what it should be. If this doesn't make sense, call me and I will show you. This may be a question for Nicolas cause something is wrong and it may be just a matter of clicking on something in the back end to correct or maybe a code within these 2 plugins.") To enable on my web site this feature I am using AkeebaSubscreption and the relative HikaShop Plug In. I tested your plug-in with akeeba subscriptions and it works fine :cheer: , but we have a different method to start the subscription period depending on when the customer buy the subscrition. For example Customer A: buys the subscription of one month as the 25th of April, the subscription period has to start the 20th of MAY and continue for 30 days. Customer B: buys the subscription of one month as the 5th of May, the subscription period has to start the 20th of MAY and continue for 30 days. Customer C: buys the subscription of one month as the 6th of May, the subscription period has to start the 20th of JUNE and continue for 30 days. In practice, if a customer buys from the 20th of April to the 5th of May, the subscription has to start the 20th of May. if a customer buys from the 6th of May to the 19th of May, the subscription has to start the 20th of June. It seems that none of my customers can use the Paypal payment option if they don't have a Paypal account. What I mean is, if they choose the Paypal payment option and then enter their credit card info, they'll get an error message from Paypal saying: "The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. I'm thinking this has probably to do with Paypal and not with Hikashop but I wanted to ask here first because I'm much more likely to get a response here than when I try to get support from Paypal. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? The customers are using regular credit cards like Visa, Mastercard, etc... so normally they should be accepted by Paypal. So far I've had nothing but problems with this and customers are forced to use Bank Transfer, which takes ages to reach us and brings a lot of work with it.") I originally got Essential and an Essential-to-Business upgrade, so when I do a version update I do 2 updates, one right after the other. Today I updated to 1.5.7, and the Essential part went fine, but after the Essential-to-Business update, the shop is bow broken. The Checkout link brings up a blank page, and a product listing link will only display the page header h1 and nothing else, on a white page. This is this way on both J 2.5.1 and J! 2.5.3. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this. (For now I'll just revert to 1.5.6.)
