I attached two screen shots. 1. Under the category of belts, there is a listing with images of all the belts with images. I have input one image here via the product entry via the image add option on the righthand side. My problem is that there is far too much space between this image and the text below it. If you look at the item below, where I have no image as yet, but you have a default image it is much closer to the text. I have cut the image in size so there is no space in the image either above or below the belt, but there is still a large gap between it and the relevant information. Please can you advise solution. 2. On the product page itself I would prefer a larger image than the image provided by inserting it via the add image as above. Instead I would like to insert the larger image in the article box as shown in my second screen shot sample product. THis gives a better look and feel to the product. However, if I do this, then I get no image showing in the Category listing of all the belts. Obviously, I don't want two images of the belt appearing on the product page. Please can you advise a solution for this. I look forward to your reply, as always. An issue I am having; To save some time, I have copied a product, then changed the name, code, images and prices of the latter so they become two unique products. On the listings page, where both products are represented, everything is correct. -However, if you go to the products view of the one that started life as a copy of the first, the original/first price is kept. I have checked in the DB, and the price has been updated there, it is only in the product page the old one is showing.. Second issue: My products have 1 option (sizes) and 8 characteristics. Because I need a lot of customization, the product text is a html file loaded by 'Sourcerer' (it is just a PHP require_once command pasted in the text area). When i change any characteristics, everything works as it should, but if I change the option, the included html file disappears.. I guess it has something to do with the function hikashopUpdateVariant()? I know there are other free and paid components out there but I've used Hika previously and found it to be good. What I'd like to do is use the free version to start with, get a few products loadded and then import the rest. If needed I can bring these through using MySQL. What I'd like to know is: Does Hika's free version have SagePay as a payment processor Can we create product attribute templates Can we change an order already placed Can we capture non completed orders. I.e orders where the customer left without paying. The idea here is that we can mail them with a discount and save their cart for them I'll probably have more questions but another thing is customisation. Right now I just write my own PHP to list unpaid orders in the front end, produce picking lists and invoices and such stuff so I'm not frightened of rolling up my sleeves but what hacks me off is that some things are coded into the component we use and I'm waiting weeks and weeks for a fix. There are some complexities to get your head around if you have never implimented a ecommerce solution before but it was all very feasible, and fun too!! Also when you click to enlarge the picture the screen goes dark but no popup appears. You have to refresh the screen to get back into the site. Using Joomla, there is a user-group protected inventory of reseller products (display boxes, multipacks, etc.) His postage on international orders is already determined by weight ( 17 zones by 7 tiers = 119 Shipping Rules. You really need a reasonable way to manage that.), fixed price with tax on orders from his state, fixed price with no tax on orders from continental US. What he is asking for is free shipping for resellers who order more than 12 items. I know I can enter a volume of 1 on all items and tally them to trip a rule, but I can't see a way to limit this rule to members of a certain User Group, "Resellers." Is that possible? I have attempted to write my own shipping plugin with his price matrix, but failed: your API encourages the determination among existing shipping rules, not the calculation of a shipping amount on the fly. This doesn't save me any time or effort. I managed to get one that DID this calculation and delivered it to the Usable Rates array, Shipping selection screen and pre-selected rate value, but upon selection/order creation, HS apparently went back to its shipping rules and recalculated shipping for the order without using the plugin overrides. It was as if the cart rendering view was entirely isolated from the Shipping processes I was working on. I was not even able to confirm that onShippingSave() was ever called - I could complete an order without a die() statement within that method ever being tripped. It's like trying to build watches in an unlit room. Please write a tutorial or two for the shipping and payment APIs. A definition of the two or three method calls is not enough for most of us: If you actually want the API calls to be used, we need a bit more context of what is going on around those processes and what variables/objects we need to juggle.
