Its working fine on one site and updates the product prices and the characteristic varients price. On the other site it is only updating the product price and not the varients. Does your variants have a price set or it on 0 ? If they don't have price already set, the mass action can't work as it's a multiplication. Some variants have prices, some do not. I believe that if there is no price set, they take the main product price. This is working fine on one site, but on another the variant price is not changing where there is one. How many products and variants do you have in your shop ? If the total is bigger than 5000 so you can launch another mass action with the start value set at 5000 in the filter section.
