Everyone sings their own song and leaves the stage. The stage is always permanent. Blessed is that song that people remember. A product mass action will, by default, target both variants and products. So if your filter on the product_name is restrictive enough to concern only variants, then you don't need another filter. Otherwise, if you have overlap with the products, you can add a second filter on the product_type column being equal to "variant" in order to target variants only.
