-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : It won't let me click on the Affiliate Tab to change the affiliate information. I don't know what to do it absolutely doesn't work.

Hi,

Do you mean the Affiliate tab in frontend from the control panel menu ?
If it is, it looks like an ACL issue, do you have the business installed for this site ?

Please provide a test account in order to do more tests.

ps: I tried to registern but was not able to login, issue to write in log file.

Hi,

We didn't change anything on your website for the affiliate information.
It's probably that you turned off the affiliate plugin via the Joomla plugins manager so make sure that it is still turned on and you should see the affiliate settings in the HikaShop configuration.

Note that we don't store the accesses of everyone's website. So if you want us to check something on a website you're developing, we would need the user access again.

Hi,

Please do not use private message but the "contact us" form (with the link of the forum thread).
We could not provide good support using private message so please avoid them.
Because if someone else than Nicolas is reading the message, he can't have access to the message that you send to Nicolas and because Nicolas is currently quite busy, you won't have an answer before several days.. And I'm sure that you don't want to wait such long.

I sent an email using "Contact Us" with the login information for the standard login page for Joomla scentsgourmet.com/administrator

Hi,

We've got the access.
As I didn't understand what part of the affiliate system was not working, I've checked them all:
take.ms/dg8Ds
take.ms/ocntW
take.ms/giRY5
And they all seem to work just fine on your website.
So I don't see any problem.

Could you please explain precisely what doesn't work for you ? Maybe with a screenshot ?

I cannot change the % commission or any of the other options for affiliates. No matter how many times I try pressing that button it doesn't do anything.

Also is there a way or will it be implemented to have sub affiliates?

Example Mary refers Sally and then Sally makes an account and start selling product.
So could Mary get 5% of everything Sally sales. "Sub affiliate"

Hi,

1. I changed my affiliation fee to 25%:

It worked just fine.
So maybe there is a glitch with your browser or user session.
If you try with another browser, do you still have the problem ?
For information, I tested with Chrome.

2. We're not looking at implementing a multi-tiered affiliate system. That would require a complete rewrite of that feature. In such cases, I would direct you to 3rd party affiliation systems. Some of them are designed to support that, and it should be relatively easy to integrate them with HikaShop.

I am using Chrome and Firefox.

The Tab is still not working. I want a set fee for all affiliates when I click on components and then HikaShop which brings me to the last 7 days, sales this month, main statistics with the buttons, products, categories, customers etc and the button for Affiliates does not work.

By the way.. I do know you can change the affiliation by the features tab but I just don't understand why the main page button does not work and fear that might mean the affiliation has a problem and might not work all the time.

Sorry for asking about what third party components you recommend that will integrate, or easy to integrate. I appreciate all of your help!

Hi,

1. Ah now I understand. It's just the button on the dashboard with doesn't work. That button actually leads to the same place as the menu Affiliates>Banners in order for you to configure your affiliate banners. If you want to configure your affiliate fees globally, you can do that in the Affiliates section of the Features tab of the Hikashop configuration page.

2. I've never used any other affiliate system, but this one looks nice, it seems to handle multi-tiered affiliate (I would recommend to confirm with the developer) and integrates directly in Hikashop:
