In the users settings have you set registration on username or on email ? Than can probably be the origin of the problem. What's wrong? Thanks")* Hi xavier, where do I find the user settings? i usually lock into the backend with my username. how does it need to be for hikashop to work properly? Go in your joomla user manager, click on the "options" button and turn off that option and it should be better. This would indicate that you configured the ACL of the Joomla configuration to not allow login for the user group of the user account you're trying to connect to your website with. So it's not a HikaShop problem. You need to check your Joomla ACLs. You can check this in System>Global Configuration>Permissions and see if there are sufficient rights to access the apge.
