"Same as billing" checkbox not displaying on checkout

Hello,

The "same as billing" checkbox is not displaying on the third step of the checkout process. The configuration setting Show 'same address' checkbox is set to yes. I have tried disabling template overrides, but that does not fix the issue.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I did see the "same address for shipping" checkbox on your registration form on your checkout.
However, I couldn't see the third step of the checkout as I didn't get the activation email (at least not yet) with the activation link.
So I can't really verify your situation.
Note that I think that you have the "same address" checkbox but not were you expect it. This chekbox will appear at the bottom of the new address edition form, so that if you create a new billing address you can have it as a shipping address too, and vice-versa.
But on the address selection interface, you won't see a "same address for shipping" checkbox instead of the shipping address selection area.

Hello Nicola,

Thanks for the reply and the information. I have attached some screenshots that detail how we had the address checkout step working in version 2.6.3 and how it works now. I have also included a screenshot of the 4.2.3 version checkout flow for step 3. We are in the process of updating the template overrides, but are struggling with finding the "same as" checkbox.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Hi,

There is no "Use the same address as for billing" checkbox with the new checkout system.
So it's normal you don't see it.
You now always have both the billing and the shipping address selection area.
The option of the configuration is not for that. It is to display a checkbox at the end of the address creation form (which you can't access as you've removed the "new" button on the address view.
