real number version

I'd like to see a real number version (with build number and date)
2.3.1 is not enough, we never know if there is a new or a old 2.3.1
or a change in that number should change Version HikaShop [1405171505] or a 2.3.1(xxx)

that you can find in the advanced area of the configuration is the build number and contains the date. For this one, it means that the build what done the 2014/05/17 at 15h05 French hour.
We didn't publish any new build since then.

then with that number we know if the 2.3.1 has changed or not ?
why dont you put that number also in the download area ? actually the version must be installed to get that number

Yes, with that number you know if the 2.3.1 has changed or not.
It's the same number since the 2014/05/17 so the package currently available hasn't changed since that date.

We don't add it there because the subscription system which handle the download is not made to support that. We'll keep that in minde for future improvements thank you for your suggestion.
If you want to get the number of the current package without installing it, download it and look at the end of the file back/views/config/tmpl/main.php and you'll see the build number a few lines before the end.
