So if BT Smart Search don't use the standard Joomla search, it is not integrated with HikaShop and so it don't display the HikaShop results. Or you don't have correctly setted up the HikaShop search plugins, in the settings you must fill valid menu item id, a product listing for the product one, and category for the other one. Please contact the "BT Smart Search" support in order to know more about the component and how it is working. The HikaShop search plugins are working fine with Joomla or with some search components but we can't help you for a component we don't know and we do not develop. All the other search modules including Joomla Search return a blank page for every search. Maybe you can help with this latter issue then. It should help you to see the PHP error message. If so, that it would mean that your server is configured not to display error messages and you'll have to look in the PHP error log of your web server for the fatal error message. If no, then it probably just means that you didn't configure and activated the HikaShop products search plugin via the Joomla plugins manager.
