Filters for products

Hi all,

as I've wrote on topic, my suggestion (and actually my need) for future improvements of Hikashop is to have filters for products and a drop-down menu to choose them.

So if I have a customer who is looking for swedish or japanese products, he can choose quickly from the menu without writing in the search field.

I had a look at that module. It seems nice but I didn't see the way to filter by custom fields. And I think this could be an important feature :laugh:

Did not understand what you said. It is not clear how it works or not hikashop filtering on custom fields? Then why do we need these fields?

Here's another example of a site with a filter, which I like

VM Universal Search PRO I like.
I bought VM Universal Search PRO, but have not used since stopped using Virtuemart.

We will of course propose the filtering by custom product fields.

Custom product fields can be used even when you don't have any filtering just to display product information in a formatted way.

Thank you for the other link by since all is in Cyrillic it's kind of difficult to understand how it works on that website.
