Instead of a popup of the message and order status, it shows the front page of the website in the window. It seems that there was a mistake already solved which was causing this error. I re-downloaded the current 2.6.0 and applied it. The Joomla updater no longer prompts to update, and the About in Hikashop no longer reports an older version is installed (2.3.2). This removed the shop/controller informational display. The Joomla CMS patch also fixed the modal/popup status change as well. Thank you!
