PayPal Transaction ID

-- PHP version -- : 7.0

Hello,

Not until long ago we used to get the PayPal transaction ID under the History part in order information. Today this information is not available anymore. Could you please advice how to get it back?

Hello,

It should probably be stored in your database through the "#_hikashop_order" table, so if you have your order ID, checking that table can be a good solution.

Thank you Mohamed for your replay.
I've searched the DB but the hikashop_order table did not have this information. I did find the transaction id for older orders in the hikashop_history table under the history_data column. But once again, new orders starting from this year do not have this information and the column is empty. Any other suggestions please?

The plugin we use is "Hikashop Paypal Payment Plugin" and I've attached a screenshot of the settings.

Hi,

Unlike what Mohamed said in his message, the transaction id is indeed not stored in the hikashop_order table but in the hikashop_history table (that's why it displays in the history area of the order).
However, as I expected you don't have it there either, otherwise, you would see it in the interface.
I think updating HikaShop would help. It might be a bug from an old version that we fixed since then as I remember a similar issue that was fixed a while ago in the paypal plugin.
