Hikashop two orders are created per customer

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0.
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.0.

I wonder why two orders are created per customer. Not everytime, but often.

Any suggestions?

Without any details about your current configuration (checkout workflow, payment method, etc), it will be difficult to say.
Maybe some customer are clicking several times ; or go back to re-submit.. A lot of things could happen which will be depend on your configuration.

Actually, I have talked to two customers, whom had made two orders and were worried about having paid two times.

The issue is messing up the order history.

Is there a way I can change the configuration to only confirm an order when it is paid? :dry:

Yes that setting can be changed in the payment methods settings.
Which payment methods are you using ?
