Order status sorter won't works

-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.16
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.28
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

I created a new order status but it is not possible to order the order status. This is a bug?

When i try sort the column with the column label, the up/down buttons disappear and stop works.

Yes. It's a bug. Thanks for your feedback. I've added a patch for that.
Download again the install package on our website and install it on yours and you'll get the patch.
