The goal is to skip the checkout on your website and use PayPal's checkout instead. So it's normal it doesn't display as a normal payment method during the checkout. The payment method has display settings to choose whether to display the button in the cart module, etc. It might not be what you want to use. Usually, merchants with a PayPal account want to use the "PayPal Checkout" payment plugin which displays as a normal payment method during the checkout. I have to stress that most Stripe payments are going through fine. However, since doing the update on 15th July, I have had a few (3 or 4) where it seems the customer did not complete the payment. I had feedback from one customer who said they weren't able to type into the card number box. I have a feeling they were using an iphone. I have tested the payment on my Android phone and it's fine but I wonder if there is an issue with apple devices? Unfortunately I don't have an iphone I can test on. I know this is often caused by 'user error' but I thought I would post and see if anyone else has noticed a problem, since it's rare for me to have this many in just over a week. So I then looked at the elements encompassing the invoice HTML code and checked their CSS for anything which could hide the area. By going up and up, I finally reached the body tag of the page: i.imgur.com/K4OM9Kr.png I can see there is a "modal" class added by the template in the "body" tag of the page. And that class has a "display:none;" in the bootstrap CSS file loaded on the page. I think that the problem comes from the template adding this "modal" class to the modals content. This was not a problem in older versions of bootstrap, but after updating to a more recent version of boostrap, the modal class' CSS in boostrap must have changed to include that display:none; leading to your issue. Our PayPal account representative recently reached out to us with a suggestion to replace the PayPal Pro payment method with the PayPal Advanced payment method because it comes with lower processing fees. Specifically, this is the PayPal product they were referencing: developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/advanced/ However, upon checking the page, there was a warning that this payment method is being deprecated by PayPal and that we should switch to PayPal Checkout plugin. When we contacted PayPal about this, they were clear that this is not the case and that PayPal Advanced is a modern solution they are actively recommending at the moment. Can you please confirm if the HikaShop PayPal Advanced Plugin is directly related to the PayPal Advanced product mentioned by our PayPal representative, or is it just an internal Hikashop name that uses a different (older) PayPal API under the hood? We were confused by these mixed messages. If it is indeed just a naming confusion, can you please suggest which HikaShop payment plugin we could use (if any) to utilize the PayPal Advanced API as recommended by our representative? Again, our goal is to keep the unbranded payment method so we can process credit cards directly on the checkout page, but use this more modern PayPal product that promises lower fees. There are no payment log details on Stripe for these interactions (failed transaction messages or logs). There is also no information added to the payment log file for Hikashop, despite the Payment plugin's Debug setting being active, so we have no information about why the process stopped. The Hikashop orders remain in created status, not confirmed, and the customers were warned in the Creation email that their orders wouldn't be processed until payment was confirmed, at which time, a true invoice number would be assigned. But we have no way to identify why the stripe processing failed, either from Hikashop OR Stripe. Since I don't know the cause of the failure or precisely when it happens, I can't confirm that users are being sent to the Cancel URL page or what it displays to them. My guess is that they are simply locking up after the Creation email is sent but before the Thank You page should be displayed. (upon a successful payment, several other processes are triggered by our own custom plugin, after the Hikashop Order Status is changed to Confirmed.) Meanwhile, successful order payments continue to proceed normally. Do you have any suggestions about the missing debug information? I think that would probably contain my answers. Thanks.") The plugin itself works fine with every account I tested if I enable instant capture (accounts testet were developer account with sandbox and real merchant account). But if I turn off instant capture, the only error I get is "The payment request was refused by PayPal. Please click here to return to the checkout." on frontend. The payment log shows the request to paypal and nothing more. I am stuck at this point, because we really need to turn the instant capture off (PayPal method "authorize"). Another thing I noticed which may be related is in frontend, if I click the paypal button an empty browser window frame opens. If I move it to the side, behind is the paypal login. Either this is part of the first problem or I need help with this, too. Please let me know, if you need further information. I initiate my plugin parameters through pluginConfig array: On database I checked that my values are memorized correctly: The problem is that, when I call them to initiate the transaction process with this call: $tid is sent as 30888470 instead of 30888470 So that the payment system doesn't recognize the terminal ID and payment fails. On logs is rendered as 30888470 All other parameters renders as they should be, included the Ksign (the API key). If I bypass plugin parameter and write it as a string everythig works.
