Design, structure Category display

Hi guys,

As i mentioned before the tree from categories in backend and frontend are not good to design.
I found a template where they have a same structure with folders and files.
Maybe it is something to look at and possible to integrate.
Or maybe not

Thank you for your feedback.
Regarding the customization of the category explorer, I believe that by replacing the images and/or a bit of PHP code customization in the views where the explorers are generated, it should be possible to customize them.
Ideally, to make it easier to customize, it would require a big overhaul of the namebox / tree system we have in place.
It's possible, but a lot of work for not a lot of improvements. So it's not a priority for us.

I understand, though it feels old and going with the design of 2019 it is important not to if you ask me.
This is a big reason WP has won more popularity that Joomla. You can do much more most of the time but the looks of joomla do not win prizes. Though the Hikashop 4 is so much better than before so i love you for that.

I have no idea how much work it will take but it will give a feeling of more 2019 if you ask me. Though technically not a big improvement, i understand
