HikaShop Product TAG insertion - Editor button/option missing

-- HikaShop version -- : 6.1.1
-- Joomla version -- : 5.4.1
-- PHP version -- : 8.2.14
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 145.0.1
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No error message

The HikaShop Product TAG insertion plugin is published but we do not have the Extended Editor button available when creating an article or a custom HTML module. We are using the JCE Editor, but I also tested with TinyMCE and the editor option is not available when using TinyMCE either. I also tried unpublishing several other 3rd-party Ext Editor buttons in case of a conflict, but no joy. Are we missing something?

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.
We made the plugin compatible with Joomla 6 in the previous version and we thought that the plugin would work the same with the 5.4 as with the 5.3. But it seems that Joomla applied the changes of the 6.0 to the 5.4 for the editor plugins.
So, I've made a patch today so that the modifications for the 6.0 are also used for the 5.4.
I've included the patch on our end. Download the install package of the 6.1.1 on our website and install it on yours in order to get the patch.

Thank you. In a related question, where can we find the view to override the display of products inserted by the plugin?

Hi,

The view can't be edited via the Display>Views menu of HikaShop.
It's the file plugins/system/hikashopproductinsert/hikashopproductinsert_view.php :
