I just took the plunge and upgraded to the business edition. I installed it according to the instructions and now the products do not show up when I click on a category listing on the front end. I see the products listed on the backend, they are attributed to the category, they have a quantity however I get an error message "Product not found" on the front end. In the free version all of the products showed up when I clicked on their respective category. The website is CarAudioWorks.net - specifically in the Boxes product sections. Categories are fine. Sometimes the top table border doesn't appear, sometimes the bottom border, sometimes there are borders missing right in the middle of the table. I have triple checked all of the formatting and the code is correct in the descriptions. I even noticed that when I copy the either the straight source code or the rich html from the front-end and paste them into an HTML editor they come out fine. So even the source seems to be coming out ok. I noticed also that the quantity field is missing it's table borders. So I am thinking that there is some left-over error that is continuing down into the description. I think I can edit this in the Display-views section. Possibly the product listing_img_desc or maybe product listing_div, But I'm not exactly sure, and I'm not a master at PHP. So any help would be greatly appreciated. These types of things drive me crazy and eat up a lot of my time trying to fix. lol I also just checked IE and these table border errors do NOT occur in Internet explorer 8.0, if that helps.") The shop is set up and seems to work fine from North America. One issue though : the component has some troubles with commands from European countries, and maybe others. The bug was reported by some clients who wanted to buy paintings. At first I thought it was a connection or browser problem, but a few people reported it from different countries, and it seems to be a recurrent. Because I live in Canada, there is no (obvious) ways to solve the problem by myself (because I cannot test it, or even see it), maybe someone in this forum may have a clue about what's happening. Maybe I configured something wrong. So here is how customers described the problem (with aproximative translation): "The link to proceed payment doesn't work (I'm guessing it's the "Next" button on the checkout page). Nothing happens, even if the mouse cursor becomes a hand (?). Plus once I'm registered, my name become "Mr. Diagramme Circulaire"("circular diagram")". I research a bit on the internet about that issue, couldn't find anything close enough to my problem. The only thing that made sense was about the rewrite rules of the .htacess file in Joomla, but before going in that direction I wanted to check if there was anything I might be missing. When I try to add them via the backend it doesn't let me - it never uploads. Weird thing is, that with the images are showing fine (even ones that are not published) in the module "Lof Hika Shop SlidingCaption Module" so it must be pulling them from somewhere. Do I need to delete the thumnails image folder like I read in another post? When I create a coupon discount of 50% and sell 2 products of € 5,=. The price without discount is € 10,=. But when I use the couponcode the price is not € 5,= because the discount is not calculated over the tax. Example: In the Netherlands we have 19% VAT. Price incl. VAT: € 5,= (€ 4,20 excl. VAT) Buying two of these products with 50% discount, must result in" € 4,20 € 4,20 € 8,40 € 1,60 VAT € 10,00 total € 5,00 -/- (50 % discount) € 5,00 total price of this order. But when I use this couponcode the endprice is now € 5,80! (that is € 4,20 + € 1,60) So in this exemple the discount is calculated over the price excl. VAT, while the VAT is still calculated over the price without the discount. That is not how it should be. ---- I also like to display al the prices in the cart incl. VAT.
