Setting up shipping by volume

Hi,

I want to set op shipping methods for art paintings.
I can't figure out how to do this.
The paintings have several width and heights. Ik think most of them have the same thickness.

Please can you tell me how to do this?
When I edit a product (painting) I have to enter lenght, width and height.
When I edit a shipping method, I can only enter a minimum volume and a maximum volume.

So I'll give you 2 thing that have to be send by a different shipping company.
1. A painting white the maximum size of 50cm by 100cm can be send for 14.95 Euro
2. All painting above these sizes (lets use 51cm by 120cm) must be send by another company for 25 Euro

How do I have to configure this?
I'm lost here

Hello Theo,

The solution will be to create 2 manual shipping methods shipping methods via "Hikashop->System->Shipping methods" and use "minimum/maximum volume" and "price" options to properly define these 2 shipping methods.

Thank you for your reply.
The case is that every painting has different dimension
So I found another solution. The shipping companies have all kinda categories with different prices.
I just made a list with prices like this
1kg
2kg
3kg
etc
When I have a new painting, I know what the sizes are and then I assign it to one of the categories in my list.
