Problem is that during the checkout process, when a buyer purchases 2 or more of the same product (which is very likely), the total amount is shown wrongly during checkout. Just by a few cents. It looks like hikashop is taking the pre-tax price, multiplying it by the number ordered and then adding the tax back on, rather than just multiplying the tax-included price. (see screenshot 1). It's only out by a few cents, but it looks stupid, like I don't know how to calculate. Strangely, the e-mail confirmation of the order (see screenshot 2) is fine. How can I get the price shown during checkout to look the same as the correct price on the confirmation e-mail? Thanks!") That was it. Finally! It was this plugin that was causing the problem. Now I turned it off, and the problem is finally solved. I guess it was turned on because, after all, I am using German taxes within Germany. Not so important, but to answer your question: I see that you have the 'detailed tax display' option of the configuration turned off while it is turned on by default. Is there a reason you changed it ? As I remember, previously 'detailed tax display' turned on showed price both with and without tax and displayed in a slightly messy way. Can you try with that option activated ? But now it's okay turned on, must have been a problem with an earlier version of Hikashop. whew ... I've searched to see if anyone else has the same problem but I can't see so. I installed a new template a few days ago - Ignite from JoomlaBamboo which has been specifically designed for HikaShop. (I told them that I thought HikaShop seemed much better and easier to use than any of the other shopping extensions I had tried). It's looking really good - except that image sizes are now all wrong. And even the wrong way round: the images on the product listing page are much too big and fuzzy, while the images on the actual individual product page are smaller and reasonably clear. This seems to be related to the template (I switched to an older template to check) but the tech guy at JoomlaBamboo can't see what's wrong and they haven't had any other complaints. I had a quick look at the page with firebug but I am not particularly sure what exactly what I would be looking for. I may have messed up my HikaShop settings by trying to change them in too many different places in an attempt to fix the problem (before I discovered that it seems to be related to the template).* I was thinking of de-installing HikaShop, trashing all my data and then starting off fresh. But before I do this, do you have any better suggestions?
