I have had my HikaShop for nearly a year, and at the beginning the first characteristics I created were for my main product. Recently, we have stopped selling a particular variant of this characteristic, so I went into the Characteristics and deleted the two items that are no longer available, but kept the other 5 options. I thought this would just delete them, but now I have a warning on the top of all my products which reads 'The default value of one of the characteristics of that product isn't available as a variant. Please check the characteristics and variants of that product'. I have noticed that at the end of my URLs it has added popup=1, which wasn't there before! Is there a way I can stop this message showing? Or another way of sorting this problem? I really don't want to re-do all the characteristics and prices of my products, I have over 1000 online.
