I have about 260 products with 2 variants for each - an original painting and a print. I set up two products correctly in Hikashop with the variants as an example. Those are product IDs 108 and 209. I exported the file, then edited it in Open Office Calc to match the same structure. When I import, it gets all of the products but not the variants. In Open Office, I think I see the problem - the last two columns are "related" and "options". The next column has no header and that is where Calc thinks the variants should go. I have included the two files: workfile from hikashopexport4.csv - the file I'm editing test.txt - exported from Hikashop after the import I think all I need to do is get the correct heading name for the variants, but I can't find that documentation. Any help would be appreciated.") Each has an "Original" and a variant for a "Print". I can do that just fine. I want to set up all the product through an import and am doing this in stages. I got all of the original products imported with no problems. I then went through the admin tools and set up a few of them in Hikashop with the variants so I could see the data structure and then duplicate it for all the other products. When I export my sample file to a text file and import it into Excel, it appears that the fields for the products I edited don't line up. For example, the product ID field has text from the description. All of the original imported products are OK, only the ones I edited in Hikashop are broken. Any ideas? I've attached the file. Thanks") Category: [Import & Export (CSV, XLS…)](/forum/37-import-export-csv-xls "Questions about import and export will find an answer here") Topic started 12 years 10 months ago, by [tuva](/forum/user/28511-tuva "View tuva's Profile") [Last Post](/forum/37-import-export-csv-xls/864131-export-error#135497 "Yes, Open Office Calc worked much better.
