| [](/forum/26-product-category-display/863785-quantity-and-prices#133387) | [Quantity and prices](/forum/26-product-category-display/863785-quantity-and-prices#133387 "-- url of the page with the problem -- :http://garlic.frazierbusiness.com/hikashop-menu-for-categories-listing/product/1-ajo-rojo -- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2 -- Joomla version -- : 2.5.16 -- PHP version -- :5.3.24 -- Browser(s) name and version -- : XXXXX x.x.x -- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Error_message I've searched the forums looking for answer to this problem. I've read the documentation and can't get it to work the way we need it to. I'm sure there is an easy way but I have tried and tried to set up the Prices and the Characteristics sections to configure correctly and can't get it to display properly. Example: My client has multiple varieties of garlic and sells each of her varieties in 8 ounces for $11.50 and 1 pound for $20.50 (small discount for buying 1 pound of garlic). I set up two Prices on the product - one for $11.50 with a minimum quantity of 1 because it won't accept a .5 for 8 ounces. I also set up the 1 pound for $20.50 with minimum quantity of 1. What I want is a dropdown showing 8 oz and 1lb where the customer can select the amount want and it reflects the corresponding price in the shopping cart. Then the customer can change the value in the quantity field if they want to order more than one pound. What steps am I missing? Is there an example somewhere I can see how I can set this up properly? Thanks for your help!") I then tried to use Joomla's Extension Manager to upload this file and received an error message, "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8099841 bytes) in /usr/home/troutcreek/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 421". I'm assuming that it ran out of memory but don't know how to increase memory. I looked on Joomla's Global Configuration and on the hosting service's account control center, to no avail. I then tried to unzip it with 7-Zip into a folder called hikashop. It only extracted one file called com_hikashop_starter_2.2.2_2013-11-1009.tar (without the .gz extension). I tried this several times. I expected to see individual files extracted, but all it showed was the one file. I read the instructions "Install via FTP" but I haven't attempted it because there is only one "extracted" file. Should there be more than one file? I've never worked with .tar or .gz files. I've only used .zip files with Joomla's Extension Manager, so I need a little help... -- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2 -- Joomla version -- : 2.5.14 -- PHP version -- : 5.3.27 -- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox and Internet Explorer -- Error-message: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8099841 bytes) in /usr/home/troutcreek/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 421 Thanks, Betsy") Category: [Install & Update](/forum/25-install-update "Having an installation or update issue?
