| [](/forum/25-install-update/910463-new-hikashop-6-4-1-sidebar-menu-on-all-account-subpages#371600) | [New HikaShop 6.4.1 Sidebar Menu on All Account Subpages](/forum/25-install-update/910463-new-hikashop-6-4-1-sidebar-menu-on-all-account-subpages#371600 "-- HikaShop version -- : 6.4.1 -- Joomla version -- : 5.4.5 Per the release notes on HikaShop 6.4.1 there’s a new sidebar menu that’s been added to all account subpages with links to orders, addresses, carts, wishlists, downloads, and affiliate. This sidebar menu now appears on my Cart Display menu item and clutters up the page significantly with a bunch of options that I don’t need. How can I remove this new sidebar menu from the Cart Display menu item? I’d rather just remove this sidebar menu as opposed to disabling each individual plugin associated with each menu item, just in case I need those plugins later.") You are right that the sidebar should only appear on account subpages, not on a standalone "Cart display" menu item. The gate that hides the sidebar on the top-level "Order listing" and "Address listing" menu items was missing on the cart show, cart listing and affiliate program views when the sidebar was extended to those pages in 6.4.1. That is a regression on our side, not intended behaviour. The fix is now in the 6.4.1 branch. Please download the latest 6.4.1 build from your member area on our website and install it over your current installation. After the update a standalone "Cart display", "Cart listing" or "Affiliate program" menu item will render without the sidebar, while the corresponding pages reached from the customer account cpanel will keep the sidebar as before.") 6 months 1 week ago by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") | Replies:1 Views:258 | [Last Post](/forum/25-install-update/910463-new-hikashop-6-4-1-sidebar-menu-on-all-account-subpages#371607 "Hello, Thanks for reporting this. | [](/forum/25-install-update/910461-question-replying-to-checkout-as-guest-while-having-an-account#371591) | [Question & Replying to Checkout as guest while having an account](/forum/25-install-update/910461-question-replying-to-checkout-as-guest-while-having-an-account#371591 "-- HikaShop version -- : 6.4.1 -- Joomla version -- : 5.4.5 I was attempting to reply to the forum thread entitled "Checkout as guest while having an account" www.hikashop.com/forum/checkout/909820-c...ving-an-account.html However as a new user in the forum, it won't allow me to reply without first submitting my own new topic. I would like to know if there was any further resolution on the issue of guest checkout of a user that is also a registered user. I agree with both respondents of the thread referenced above. On my site I would like everyone (including registered users) to have the frictionless option to check out as a guest. Less friction on check out is proven to increase sales, particularly of digital download items. But I also need to be able to offer registered user services as well. Registered users in my case is handled by Community Builder. It seems to me that the hard coding of this isn’t needed or at least should be made optional. Has this issue changed since the posts referenced above were made?") Category: [Install & Update](/forum/25-install-update "Having an installation or update issue? Allowing for this without a profound change in HikaShop would be a problem security-wise on your website as anyone with the email address of a registered user would be to access the data of the user.
