However, this seems to applied inconsistently. For some products it works, others it does not. For example on the page in link given, ordering even 100 packs of gum, the free shipping is not applies. Any ideas? However, I require the navigation menu to have the product categories in the 1st level of the menu (so Parent item= "menu item root"). Is their any way to accomplish this. Obviously I could create a hidden menu with the correct hierarchy, and have my navigation menu as alias of this - but it seems a little like a fudge, and creates extra work. Joomla needs a "menu" to know which component is used and which component it needs to load and call. Otherwise, you'll need a routing component (also called a SEF component) which will do that work for you.
