However, I'm not able to reproduce the problem on my end. I just tried that code: where 64 is the id of a variant of the "star stilleto" product of the sample data you get when you install HikaShop. However, the plugin function is simply not executing during the checkout process. So basically right before i get redirected to the payment gateway, the order is created in the system (i can see it in the backend of hikashop). However, the onAfterOrderCreate() function is not executing at this point - if this is how hikashop is setup, then what plugin event (function) can i call upon that will execute at this point? I am then taken off to the payment gateway - but i stop at this point because i dont want to put a payment through the system. Can anyone see the reason why this is happening? What i need it to do, is remove a particular item from the basket when a certain coupon is deleted. I have added what i have coded so far below. I cannot even get an exit() statement alone to execute in the onAfterDiscountDelete(&$elements) function. The onAfterDiscountDelete(&$elements) function doesn't appear to execute even when a coupon is deleted from the frontend of the website. I have written numerous plugins for hikashop now and they have all worked so far (except for this one)... So i need to know: Why my plugin is not executing; What code i need to delete an item from the basket; My plugin is installed and it is published so that is not the issue here. I have stored my plugin in:- /plugins/hikashop/discount/ and that folder contains the following files:- discount.php discount.xml index.html The code below is contained within:- /plugins/hikashop/discount/discount.php Code: loadFullCart(); $numberOfProductsInCart = sizeof($cart->products); for($i=0; $iproducts[$i] == 120) { //I need some code to remove this item from the basket - but what code will achieve that? } } } } ?> Thanks in advance guys!") You should take a look at the trigger "onBeforeCouponLoad(&$coupon,&$do)" instead. I have seen the "developer documentation" describing how to create a custom plugin and indeed i have written a custom plugin for hikashop before (albeit a long time ago). Ok so what i want to do is write a custom plugin for coupons - so im thinking of adding that custom plugin as follows:- /plugins/hikashop/coupon/coupon.php (for the above: is this the correct folder/file path for adding a coupon plugin?) and then im thinking of adding code like so (to the coupon.php plugin file):- Code: class plgHikashopCoupon extends JPlugin { function plgHikashopCoupon(&$subject, $config) { parent::__construct($subject, $config); } function onBeforeCouponLoad(&$coupon,&$do) { } } (for the above: am i extending the right class? or should i be extending a more specific coupon class?
