Before starting to write another mode in the plugin, I prefer to be sure that the three other modes are working fine for everybody. Because adding the enhanced ecommerce web tracking will add 2 new modes in order to support the universal analytics and the measurement protocol versions. As you understand, it is a pretty big development and it requires some time and a lot of tests ; I already spent some time to rewrite the analytics plugins to integrate the two new modes and I did it during my free time (for free) ; I'm currently quite busy with my current developments for my products, so no, the development is not planned for a short delay.
