I installed Hikashop and imported products and modules successfully. On the new site, the template is Yootheme Pro. Hikashop products are correctly displayed in pages generated by menu items. But when they are in a module, they are not displayed unless the module is itself in a Hikashop page. In other words: if the Hikashop content module is shown in a "normal" page (such as an article), nothing is displayed; In a Hikashop component page (such as HS Products page), the same module correctly displays products. How can this be fixed?") Category: [Product & Category Display](/forum/26-product-category-display "Questions about product and category display. Module assignment: In Joomla, go to Content > Site Modules and edit your HikaShop module. In the "Menu Assignment" tab, make sure the module is assigned to display on the pages where you want it to appear (either "On all pages" or specifically select the pages). 2. Module position: Verify that the module position you're using exists in your YOOtheme Pro template for those specific pages. Some template positions may only be available on certain page types. 3. Target menu item: In the module's HikaShop options, check the "Menu" setting. This setting determines which HikaShop menu item will be used for product links. If this is not set or points to an invalid menu item, it could cause display issues. You want to select a products listing menu item in there. If you can access the page source (right-click > View Source) on a non-HikaShop page where the module should appear, check if the module HTML is present but perhaps hidden, or if it's completely absent from the output. If all this doesn't help, it would be great if you could provide the URL of a page where the module is supposed to be displayed, and screenshots of its settings.") 9 months 3 weeks ago by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") | Replies:1 Views:397 | [Last Post](/forum/26-product-category-display/910019-content-modules-do-not-show#369957 "Hi, Please check the following settings: 1. I installed Hikashop and imported the products successfully; then I installed Falang and also imported its tables. Translation of pages and menus is working, but product custom fields (whose contents were created and translated via the language files it-IT_com_hikashop.ini and en-GB_com_hikashop.ini) are not (only the language constants are shown). Plus, although Italian is set as the main admin and frontend language and the Italian translation files are correctly installed, the Hikashop admin interface is still in English, as are all core Hikashop frontend strings (e.g., “add to cart”). Italian language files are correctly present in the language/it-IT folders, and have the right contents. But it seems they aren’t read by Hikashop, neither on the backend nor on the frontend. But If I put some of the translated constants in the override file, they work. I could then copy all the contents of the language files in the override files, but I don’t think this is the correct working procedure. Last, I noticed that in the old site, the language strings that have line breaks are correctly rendered, while in the new one, they are not ( tags instead work). Is this a Joomla issue or is it specific to Hikashop? I’ll have to do a massive search and replace on the language files, or is there a way to avoid this? | [](/forum/26-product-category-display/877699-product-order-drag-and-drop#206881) | [Product order drag and drop?](/forum/26-product-category-display/877699-product-order-drag-and-drop#206881 "-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0 -- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1 -- PHP version -- : 5.4 -- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome Hi, 1. Is there a better way to sort products - I went to my products and chose the dropdowns: Published / Products / Direct sub elements. I can sort them by clicking arrows - but a drag and drop option would be really appreciated or at least the option to add a number and then hit save and the product will be placed in the number you selected and the one in that position will be put down by 1. Right now I have to click those arrows - and ok I only have 15 products but imagine somebody wants to order the products with loads of products - a nightmare... Anyway maybe that exists already but I cannot find it... 2. In my Hikashop > Documentation > Update / About it says: You have the latest stable version of HikaShop Essential: 2.4.0 - BUT here in the Forum it says: Your HikaShop version is not up to date. Thanks to update it before posting your question. So what now? Is it up to date or not? Thanks for your help.")
