I've noticed that when I select a shipping method, which is defined in Hikashop and working properly in the frond-end, the shipping costs aren't calculated. I have to manually fill in the shipping costs and VAT over those shipping costs everytime I create an order in the backend. Isn't there a way or option to get the costs calculated when I select one of the shipping methods? I haven't been able to find a solution for this problem myself yet. Greetings, Danny") Category: [Shipping Methods](/forum/28-shipping-methods "Discussions about the different shipping methods for Hikashop") Topic started 12 years 4 months ago, by [dmerkenhof](/forum/user/33014-dmerkenhof "View dmerkenhof's Profile") [Last Post](/forum/28-shipping-methods/868927-shipping-prices-not-calculated-in-backend-invoice#159804 "Hi, There is no easy solution to do that. It's actually not easy to do in the backend for an order for several reasons: - the shipping calculations system was built to work on the checkout in the frontend with a cart. You want it in the backend for an order in the order details manager. So the data is stored at different places with different format. It would be a huge undertaking to make it work there. - we want to have for you the capability to enter your own shipping price. - the popup edition interface isn't meant to support the selection of multiple shipping methods. And it can get quite complex to support all the possibilities, especially if we have to take into account multi-shipping. A way simpler solution will be to create the order for your family or friends from the frontend of the website, as a normal customer and just change what you want in the order in the backend afterward.") 12 years 4 months ago by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") | Replies:1 Views:518 | [Last Post](/forum/28-shipping-methods/868927-shipping-prices-not-calculated-in-backend-invoice#159804 "Hi, There is no easy solution to do that.
