We have products already added to the shop, each with many variants. 1. Is there a way to add multiple products from the shop products to a vendor? I didn't see that as an option and looked into doing it with a MySQL query but don't see any entries for product_category ID in the product table which houses the vendor ID for the product. So not sure how I could differentiate the products by category in a query on that table. 2. Do we have to assign the variant of each product to the vendor as well or will the parent product vendor be enough? | [](/forum/3-bug-report/18140-issue-with-unpublished-variants#169473) | [Issue with unpublished variants](/forum/3-bug-report/18140-issue-with-unpublished-variants#169473 "Hi Nicolas I read the recent thread on this but this change presents us with a huge problem - we would have to go through over 2000 listings deleting variants where we either have no stock currently or where the variant is not published for a particular product because it does not apply, and where the variants are currently set as unpublished. Why do variants that are not published have to show at all in the front end? - they did not do so before this latest update. The alternative would be to create hundreds of different variant sets - but that seems an unacceptable option - the variants worked perfectly before. The impact on our sales is substantial because suddenly more than half the items visitors are clicking on have no stock because variants that were previously unpublished are now showing. This is a really serious problem! If this is not fixable can I please have a clean copy of the last essential version software before this alteration so that I can backtrack. I was using 1.4.9, but the version I have on disc is prior to some fixes you made to discounts, etc. Thanks Chris") Category: [Bug Report](/forum/3-bug-report "Please report any bugs or errors here.") Make sure you turn off the "show out of stock products" setting of the HikaShop configuration so that the system won't display out of stock variants. 2. Values that are used by at least one variant have to be displayed so that you can select that variant. If you have a variant for the "blue" value of the "color" characteristic and for the XL value of the size characteristic and that you don't have any other sizes of the product in blue, the blue value will have to display in the characteristic dropdown and thus you'll be able to select the other variants of that color even if they don't exist (but you won't be able to purchase them). A solution to that is to change the "characteristic display method" to "list" and that way you'll only get the variants that do exist, but it's not adapted to the way you configured your products.") 10 years 11 months ago by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") - [1](/forum/3-bug-report/18140-issue-with-unpublished-variants?start=0 "Page:1") - [2](/forum/3-bug-report/18140-issue-with-unpublished-variants?start=20 "Page:2") | Replies:24 Views:7607 | [Last Post](/forum/3-bug-report/18140-issue-with-unpublished-variants?start=20#219184 "There are two things: 1. Is the Market version Hikashop Business PLUS the Market component or just the Market component? 2. The client I purchased Hikashop for has products from various manufacturers and will not stock any items.
