| [](/forum/4-how-to/870201-migration-hikashop-joomla-1-5-to-3-0#166545) | [Migration Hikashop Joomla 1.5 to 3.0](/forum/4-how-to/870201-migration-hikashop-joomla-1-5-to-3-0#166545 "-- HikaShop version -- : 2.1.0 I have this site in Joomla 1.5 I want the exact same site information but with a theme named favorite that only exists in Joomla 3.x my question is.... How can I take all the data from the old site and post it to the new one (that is in a different server) and just change the template. I already tried using plugins like akeeba backup and red migrator , I also tried to backup the database from the old site and manually replace it in the new one, I also read that I must overwrite the media/com_hikashop directory in the new website with the old data, but none of these methods had worked the way I expected. Akeeba backed up my site perfectly, then I tried to use the redmigrator to upgrade my site to joomla 3.0 and it apparently worked without the data of hikashop, then I replaced the database and the media/com_hikashop directory but it didn't work. I would like to know an alternative besides building the site all over again because I already tried and I have some problems with some of the payment methods. Thank you very much.") That's because HikaShop 2.3.0 wasn't made to work with Joomla 3.5 but HikaShop 2.6.3 still works with Joomla 1.5 If, in the future, you need an old version of HikaShop, you can use our contact form to request it. Make sure that you specific the edition and the order number of the purchase in your request. But for a migration from Joomla 1.5, I don't recommend it.") 10 years 5 months ago by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") | Replies:3 Views:1556 | [Last Post](/forum/4-how-to/870201-migration-hikashop-joomla-1-5-to-3-0#239519 "Hi, Instead of installing HikaShop 2.3.0 on your new website, it's better to first update HikaShop on your old website (or a copy of it).
