My question is simple, perhaps 'dumb', so please bear with me. If I setup HikaShop with HikaMarket I need to implement 2 different Registration methods - 1. for "Customers" (normal users) and 2. for "Vendors" (so they can setup their own products etc. Can someone please advise me or point me in the right direction? Am I missing something simple? If I have only 1 Registration area then How can I differentiate the user as being either a Customer or a Vendor? Thanks again for taking the time to read and reply to my question. Sincerely, Edward C.") ( www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...nfig_market_register ) You can have a "manual" vendor registration where user ask to become a vendor. It use the HikaMarket registration process but this registration page allow to register for HikaShop and HikaMarket in the same time. It means that you can have "customers" (which are not vendors) and "vendors" (which are also "customers"). The other mode is the "automatic creation". It means that HikaMarket will create automatically a vendor account for every HikaShop customers in your store (except for guest accounts). You can also add a joomla user group restriction, to just allow users of a specific group to become vendor (if you want to use a subscription system for example). I hope it will help you to understand how HikaMarket works.
