I'm not sure if the changes are possible. I've played around with the settings a little and have read some of the forums, but can't seem to find what I am looking for. If it exists, if you can link it for me, that would be great. As you can see at this page, www.fortressfirearmsmanufacturing.com/fo...oduct/10-diar-15-9mm I have a product setup with multiple options. Each option is then setup with a characteristic that has a different variant. Is it possible to change the image to show the option / characteristic / variant that is selected? When I initially set this up, I had set everything up as characteristics, but continued to crash the site. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks.") If you have only 3 dropdowns with 5 values each, that's 5*5*5 = 125 variants for the page (each one with its different image), and that should be possible to replace these three options with three characteristics so that the image would change based on the selected variant, and leave the other options as they are. But above 200/300 variants, that's too much and the page will likely crash. In that case, an alternative would be to customize the product page with custom javascript to replace the main page when a dropdown is changed. Wants each product to be available at each vendor's location. Believed solution, but not sure if I'm on the right track. The duplicate products plugin is used to duplicate products for each vendor that is created. If a new product is added after the vendor has been created, does the new product also get added to the vendor? Does the other vendors automatically have access to use each product that is currently in the hikashop even if the products are not currently assigned to a vendor? If each product needs to be assigned to the main vendor account first, is it possible to add the vendor to each product without editing each product individually? Sorry for all the questions, I thought I had this figured out and working, but realized that I probably don't. But there was a similar question in another thread ; which was more about the characteristics/variants. www.hikashop.com/forum/23-market-how-to/873697-feasibility.html So in the next version of HikaMarket, there will have a new "vendors" characteristics which will allow the vendors to "duplicate" (by creating a variant) and the characteristic will be fully dynamic ; it will list the vendors who have created a variant only. I've ran into a snag though and need some advice. My client is selling products that have 7-10 categories of options for each product and then anywhere from 2-7 items in each category. So for instance I have the following: Product 1 - category 1 with 3 options, category 2 with 2 options, category 3 with 5 options, category 4 with 7 options, category 5 with 7 options, category 6 with 5 options, category 7 with 3 options. My thought at first would be to create the characteristics and then add them to each of products. This would allow the customer to select the product that he or she wanted, and then select the option in each category that he or she wanted with the product. I found that this works okay with 3 characteristics but when I added all 7, I ran into issues. I've increased my memory size, but then I still run into a time limit exceeded creating a 550 error. So I'm trying to understand the best way to accomplish this without creating characteristics. Based on the option in each category changes the price of the product. I tried the custom fields, but I either didn't do it right, or don't understand how to make it work. I also looked at the options, but that keeps everything separate and then the customer has to select yes and no for each option. Any advice would be great. Thanks.")
