After thorough investigation from our hoster, we found out that the cause lies in the 'Hikashop geolocation plugin'. Once disabled, the page loaded perfectly fast again, and once enabled, it takes ages again. Then, I checked the settings within the plugin: Under 'Geolocation Service', it said 'both'. After ticking 'IPInfoDB' only, it worked fine (!), and having ticked 'GeoPlugin' only, it is not loading anymore. So, there seems to be a problem with the GeoPlugin service? Do I need to enter an API key (currently empty) or is there a way to use both services again? thanks in advance, Chris") Category: [General Talk about HikaShop](/forum/2-general-talk-about-hikashop "Suggest your feature requests and ideas for HikaShop") Topic started 5 years 9 months ago, by [cskmanagement](/forum/user/34856-cskmanagement "View cskmanagement's Profile") [Last Post](/forum/2-general-talk-about-hikashop/901736-geolocation-plugin-stopping-page-to-load-properly-problem-w-geoplugin-service#337421 "Hi, I don't see how. The system has to wait for an answer from GeoPlugin to know if it's working or not. And that waiting time is what "slows" the page loading. In order to include extra tables (for filters or search) requires for the moment the usage of a plugin. Perform a link with the table "order product" would be complicated because the SQL will return one line per order product. So if an order have 3 products, you would have 3 rows in the SQL result. Because of the aggregation on the "order_id", you will right have one row but you can't know which one it would be. To summarize, including the "order products" in the query is possible and could work for a search feature.
