# DesktopDoctors recent posts (2 messages )

Everything is up to date. No amount of caching or memcached has helped. We are using AwoCoupon Pro but even when turned off things are still the same, slow. Payment method is Authorize.net and shipping is UPS and USPS. There is 3 sets of Characteristics total being used for some products as well. Other than buying a faster mysql from the hosting provider I am at a loss. I know a default joomla install issues around 9 database queries, currently for the shop though it goes up to 100+. I am hoping it isn't some issue with the site being updated to joomla 3.4. I just had to rebuild another website due to the 3.4 upgrade breaking the ability to assign templates to menu items, it would always use the default. After starting from a fresh 3.4 install everything started working as it should. I am hoping I can figure something out and not need to rebuild the entire site. Then today the checkout price of products are doubling. Any insight and help is much appreciated. Thank You.")
