On my Product Listing page there is a Quick View icon on each listed product, clicking which opens a lightbox which displays a custom layout showing thumbnails of all product images along with some more product information and an Add to Cart button. To start with the full sized image corresponding to the first thumbnail will be shown when the lightbox opens and then as the user clicks on another thumbnail the corresponding image should be retrieved from the server using Ajax. I have managed to add the Quick View button to each product on the Product Listing page and a click is now opening a lightbox which loads in a custom layout file which right now is a copy of the show_default.php. I would now like to modify the show_default.php copy and implement the layout that I outlined above. Can you please help with the JQuery / Javascript and Ajax urls required to implement the loading of images. I would also like that the lightbox (implemented using Squeezebox) should close when the user adds a product to the cart by clicking the Add to Cart button in the lightbox. I plan to add a click handler to the Add to Cart button to close the Squeezebox but do I need to take care in some way that the product actually gets added to the cart before the Squeezebox is closed by me? All I can tell you is that you can have access to all images in a product page, so it's up to you to make the javascript to generate some kind of lightbox gallery. "Squeezebox" is provided by Joomla itself and you can use a little javascript script to close the "current" popup. With the new Cart/Checkout system in HikaShop 3 ; you would be easier for you to manage the "add to cart" because it could be done using ajax. With the current version (or an old version like HikaShop 2.2.2) you should be able to use the "return url" with the add to cart ; to redirect the user to a specific page, which will just close the popup. I would like the chosen category to be highlighted in the module. - In addition to the Content Module in the sidebar, I have menu items of Product Listing type in the main menu bar. When I choose a category in the Content Module then the associated menu item in the main menu bar does not get highlighted when the page loads with the chosen category's products. If the menu item in the main menu is of Category Listing type then it does get highlighted. Is there a way to highlight menu items of Product Listing type in this situation? - In the Menu parameter of the Content Module I need to specify a menu item of Category Listing type. If the specified menu item is of another type then no products display at all in the page that loads after a category is chosen. Is this the way it is - that you will get a blank page on specifying a non-category list menu item? - Like the way you need to specify a Category Listing type menu item for the Content Module to display categories, you need to specify a Product Listing type menu item for the Filter Module. Am I right in my understanding? Thanks in advance for your clarifications.") Also, if I now refresh the page, the cart shows up as empty but on adding a new product, I get to see the products added on the previous day. Proceeding to checkout gives me a message that the cart is empty. * The only way to set things right is to clear the browser cache after which things work as expected. On a related note another session related problem that I have noticed is as follows: * Visit the site so as to start a new user session. * Now delete all the carts from the Hikashop backend on the server. * Now try adding some products to the cart on the client end. You will see the products being added to the cart but this cart does not show up on the list of carts in the Hikashop backend on the server. Also, you cannot delete these products from the cart on the client end. * The only solution is to clear the browser cache on the client end so that a new session gets started. I understand that the problems described by me are similar to what is described in the forum post that I referred to above. I also believe that you have fixed these issues in a later version of Hikashop. Unfortunately, I have inherited the current site from a previous developer and I cannot risk a Hikashop update because of the fact that the code is heavily customized. | [](/forum/27-checkout/878972-session-related-issues-with-the-cart#212597) | [Session related issues with the cart](/forum/27-checkout/878972-session-related-issues-with-the-cart#212597 "-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2 -- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6 -- PHP version -- : 5.4.37 -- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 44.0.2403.157 m Hi, I am facing session related problems and a search on the issue has led me to the following forum post which seems to be the problem that I am facing: hikashop.com/forum/checkout/868584-cannot-empty-checkout.html Just to clarify, my specific problem is as follows: * I add some products to the cart and do not proceed with the checkout * Now if I revisit the site say, the next day (after the Joomla session has expired), without having closed my browser, I am not able to delete the products added the previous day. Also, if I now refresh the page, the cart shows up as empty but on adding a new product, I get to see the products added on the previous day. I will greatly appreciate if you can tell me what changes to make in the Hikashop files of my version, which will solve these issues. Thanks in advance for your help and cooperation. With warm regards") Category: [Checkout](/forum/27-checkout "Everything about the checkout process in Hikashop") Topic started 11 years 1 month ago, by [rdpaul](/forum/user/36291-rdpaul "View rdpaul's Profile") [Last Post](/forum/27-checkout/878972-session-related-issues-with-the-cart#212835 "Hi Jerome, Thanks for your reply. | [](/forum/30-integrations/875202-pdf-invoice-plugin-not-working#192501) | [PDF Invoice Plugin not working](/forum/30-integrations/875202-pdf-invoice-plugin-not-working#192501 "-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2 -- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6 -- PHP version -- : 5.4.37 -- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 40.0.2214.115 m Hi, I have installed the PDF Invoice Plugin and in the plugin settings I have set the "Statuses for email attachment" to "confirmed" and all other settings are at default. With this plugin enabled, when an order is successfully paid for through Paypal, the customer does not receive the order confirmation email and no payment confirmation email is received by the site administrator. The order creation email is received every time though. If I turn the PDF Invoice plugin off, then all emails are received fine. When I go to the back end and generate an invoice by clicking the invoice button in the order detail screen, the popup that opens to display the PDF invoice displays a partly formed invoice only. I am attaching a screen shot of that popup. Also, I do not find any invoice generated in the /plugins/hikashop/attachinvoice/attachinvoice/invoices directory. It seems that the plugin is not able to create the PDF invoice as a result of which the order confirmation email does not get sent out at all to the customer and neither does the payment confirmation email gets sent out to the administrator. Thanks in advance for your help in resolving this. UPDATE: I notice that if I comment out the following code in /plugins/hikashop/attachinvoice/attachinvoice/invoice.php then everything works fine and the confirmation and payment notification mails get sent out (though obviously the Billing and Shipping addresses do not get printed in the attached invoice): order_shipping_id) && $oneAddress=='shipping_address' && method_exists($currentShipping, 'getShippingAddress')) { $override = $currentShipping->getShippingAddress($order->order_shipping_id); } if($override !== false ) { echo $override; } else { $addressClass = hikashop_get('class.address'); if($app->isAdmin()){ $view = 'order'; }else{ $view = 'address'; } echo $addressClass->displayAddress($order->fields,$order->$oneAddress,$view); } ?> ") Category: [Integrations](/forum/30-integrations "Informations on all the different integrations available for Hikashop") Topic started 11 years 8 months ago, by [rdpaul](/forum/user/36291-rdpaul "View rdpaul's Profile") [Last Post](/forum/30-integrations/875202-pdf-invoice-plugin-not-working#192501 "That works great!
