I have been looking through the documentation and forums trying to determine if the UPS Shipping plugin submits shipping data to UPS in order to set up shipping and generate labels, or if all of that has to be done manually. I have found conflicting information on the forums and would like clarification if possible. ----- In this post on the topic : www.hikashop.com/forum/shipping-methods/...-after-purchase.html Xavier says: In HikaShop we have an integration with UPS: hikashop.com/support/support/documentati...ipping-ups-form.html So that a label should be sent to you automatically by UPS, regarding the tracking code, I guess that it is sent directly by UPS. ----- In this post on the topic : www.hikashop.com/support/forum/4-how-to/...shipping-labels.html Nicolas says : HikaShop doesn't send the customer information to UPS for label printing. ----- Those answers seem to conflict each other. At the very least they are confusing. So could you tell me which answer is correct? What does the UPS Shipping integration do exactly? Does it simply estimate shipping using information from UPS? Or does it also send info to ups for things like shipping label generation and pickup? Thank you in advance.") Also, Authorize.net doesn't have a "response key" but a "md5 hash". The name is different, but it's used in the same way. So you can just enter your response key in the md5 hash field. Regarding your last issue, I see that there is an option "Validate Relay Response HTML" in Payeezy to handle the HTML response from your website after the relay response. So it might be linked to that. Try to switch that setting.") by [nicolas](/forum/user/63-nicolas "View nicolas's Profile") 10 years 7 months ago |
| [](/forum/4-how-to/882554-ups-plugin-shipping-labels-clarification#231055) | [UPS Plugin Shipping Labels Clarification](/forum/4-how-to/882554-ups-plugin-shipping-labels-clarification#231055 "-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1 -- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8 Good afternoon. Thank you in advance.")
