I have 2 modules in the sidebar (HikaShop Content Module) one for product categories other for manufacturers (brands), both configured exactly the same (see first attachment). Then I use 2 filters, created in Menu > Display > Filters, one is manufacturers filter displayed only on categories and the second one is a category filter shown only on the pages of the manufacturers content module. Both are configured in the same way (see attachments). Being inside a product category I can filter by those products manufacturers, but can't filter by category being on a page that gives me all products of a manufacturer.")
